Catherine Hicks was born on August 6, 1951, in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was a cheerleader at Gerard High School where she graduated in 1969. Later she tried out to be a cheerleader for Notre Dame only to barely miss making it. That loss led her to take an interest in acting. Catherine applied and won a scholarship to Cornell and soon her career began to take off. She is married to make-up artist Kevin Yagher who was born in 1963 in Illinois and they have a daughter named Catie who was born in 1992. She met Kevin while working on the film "Child's Play."
Catherine Hicks plays Annie Camden on the hit tv series "7th Heaven." Wife and mom of seven, Annie has her hands full at home. Housewife and homemaker by choice, Annie is the handywoman around the house. Because she's at home most of the time, she notices everything that goes on (or almost everything). Annie started going back to college at the beginning of the 5th season, then quit at the beginning of the sixth season to teach at Ruthie's school. Then she quit teaching in the middle of the sixth season. Annie also went through menopause during that season.
