Lucy and Kevin have a date at Eddie's Pool Hall because they are playing country music all week long. When she walks in she sees Kevin and Roxanne dancing. She then storms out only to be stopped by Chandler who asks what is wrong. She tells him and they go and talk at the church. They talk about why they wanted to become a minister (or start becoming a minister in Lucy's case) and many other things. It is an hour after their date was supposed to start, when Kevin recruits Simon, Cecilia, and Roxanne to help him find Lucy when he learns that she is not home. Simon and Cecilia's date gets ruined because of it and so does Roxanne's. In the car, Roxanne asks Kevin to kiss her and he says that he would never do that because he loves Lucy. Eric starts thinking and comes to the conclusion that he doesn't want to be a minister anymore. When Annie learns of this decision, she worries about him. When Kevin finally finds Lucy at the church, he assumes it was a date seeing the picnic. Lucy and Chandler try to persuade him it was not a date but he won't listen. He said that he wanted Lucy to talk to him instead of needing Chandler. As he walks out he kisses Roxanne. Lucy sees it and is angry. Roxanne tells her it is her fault and that she wanted Kevin to kiss her. This just makes Lucy hate her more. At home, Lucy wants Eric's help but he said that he can't help her because he doesn't want to help people anymore. Lucy storms away, now being angry at Kevin and her dad.
