Jessica Claire Biel was born on March 3, 1982, in Ely, Minnesota. She was raised in Conneticut and then in Boulder, Colorado. Though her character in 7th Heaven is a year older than sister Lucy, Jessica (known as Jesse to her friends) is actually a little more than a year younger than that co-star. Jessica has a younger brother named Justin and has a best friend also named Jesse (a girl). Jessica is very athletic and loves to play soccer among other sports. She has a black cat named Kit Kay and a cocker spaniel dog named Freckles. Jessica is 5'8 and has brown hair and hazel colored eyes. She also collects vintage glasses with no lenses. She was discovered in 1994 at the IMTA Los Angeles convention. Jessica wanted out of her contract in the fifth season, but the WB wouldn't let her. They chose to ship her character off to Buffalo, reducing the amount of time Jessica had to appear on the show. She reappeared on occassional guest appearances, generally on the phone from Buffalo. Jessica decided to return to the show full time in the sixth season. However, she has now decided to back out again and has only agreed to do three episodes in the seventh season.
Jessica Biel plays Mary Camden on the hit tv series "7th Heaven." Mary is the second oldest child in the family and the oldest daughter. Mary is very strong-willed and independent and often appears sure of herself even when she's not. Mary's favorite sport is basketball and her favorite passtime is dating. Mary made the varsity basketball team her freshman year of High School. After Mary was hit by a car at the end of her freshman year, she had to undergo some extensive physical therapy before making her basketball comeback her sophomore year. Because of poor grades in her classes her senior year, the coach locked the girls basketball team out of the gym until they raised their grades. Then Mary and some others from the team broke into the gym and trashed it, only to be caught by the police. Mary avoided serious consequences by being granted community service where she met a guy named Robbie Palmer. The two started dating until she discovered that Robbie wasn't as nice as he first appeared.
Mary graduated High School in May, 2000. After losing her college scholarship from being arrested her Senior year, Mary chose not to go to college. Instead she drifted between jobs and got mixed up with some bad people who got her to start drinking beer. As a result of Mary's rebellious behavior, Eric and Annie sent her to live with Eric's parents in Buffalo, NY, where she got better. She worked at a homeless shelter, but when she realized that she needed a better job and career, she tried out for the fire department. While there, Mary's former boyfriend Robbie Palmer moved in with her family back in Glen Oak because he was found homeless by Eric. They later decided that they didn't want to get back together. When Wilson and Mary discovered that they were living near each other, they started dating again, and Wilson even proposed marriage. But when he caught Mary kissing another firefighter (Ben), they broke up and her grandparents sent Mary back home to Glen Oak. Now home again, Mary is working hard to get a good reputation again and has started college classes in the Spring, 2002, and began a career as a stewardess. Mary and Ben got back together again and were working out their relationship with one another, but then at the start of the seventh season, they had broken up because his old girlfriend came back. Mary is now dating a pilot in his forties and has moved to Florida.
