Lucy has to go to jury duty and complains that she has classes to attend to. She tells Kevin about her problem and he gets mad at her because being a part of the jury is a duty to her country. Lucy goes back to jury duty and the person on trial is Jimmy Moon, one of her high school boyfriends. She has to go out of the room. Lucy realizes that she wants to be a part of the jury again. She tells Kevin that she's sorry.

     Roxanne asks Kevin if he and Lucy have ever had sex. He tells Roxanne that it's none her buisness. She tells him that she was only asking because Lucy is going to become a minister and Chandler is, then they might have the same views on sex before marriage. Kevin tells Roxanne that she should ask Chandler. Roxanne and Kevin are called to go to a homeless man. On their way up to meet him, they aren't paying any attention while talking about Lucy and Roxanne gets stabbed. Kevin calls an ambulance and she is taken to the hospital. Chandler visits her there.

     Simon wants to go out with Cecilia but she keeps on avoiding him. He goes to her father but he tells Simon that everythings not about you. Simon goes up to Cecilia and they talk it out. She tells him that he can't go out with any other girls except her but she can go out with other guys. Simon agrees and says that he doesn't want to go out with anyone but her.

     Annie is angry at Eric because he won't tell her what is going on at his therapy sessions. At Eric's sessions, he interrogates the psychologist instead of the psychologist interrogating him. The psychologist invites Annie to one of the sessions. Eric and Annie argue about it and Ruthie asks them if they are going to get a divorce. They assure her they are never going to get a divorce. Annie ends up going to the session. At the therapy session, Annie tells Eric that she has loved him for more than half of her life and that she doesn't care if he goes back into the ministry, even though she would like him to. Near the end of the session, Annie and Eric both start to cry and they make up. When they get home, they have ice cream and they tell Ruthie that it's going to be alright.
